We know from experience that creating a zero-entry shower couldn’t be simpler. TrueDEK bases are tried, tested and trusted by contractors all over the globe, and can be installed in 4 quick and easy steps.
TrueDEK shower bases pre-sloped and are thin yet incredibly strong, so once the subfloor has been removed, you don’t need to cut into any joists, just add blocking where needed to support around the drain hole.
Designed to be lightweight and easy to handle during installation, TrueDEK shower bases come with a flat perimeter that benefits from pre-drilled and countersunk pilot holes, meaning it can be fixed directly onto joists quickly and with little difficulty.
Plumb in your drain of choice, connect this to the drain line using our supplied coupling, and cover the area with a gasket before sealing the joins around the outside of the base and along the walls with supplies from our TrueDEK waterproofing kits.
Once the area is sealed, cover the entire shower in Tank/10 waterproofing compound to ensure your installation is completely watertight. When the area is dry, you’re free to install wall panels, tile, and/or commercial-grade vinyl flooring in the shower.
